The City Council’s Travel Plan.

The Council are trying to lead the way by developing its own Travel Plan, a Steering Group has been established to drive this process. All staff who work for the Authority have received a Staff Travel Survey, which asks questions about their current travel patterns and what measures would encourage them to leave their car at home. The responses from these surveys are being used to identify which measures should be included in the Council Travel Plan. The next stage is to put some of these measures into practice.

Promotion of Company TravelWise

Through Company TravelWise in Wolverhampton, the City Council is also encouraging other businesses in the City to have a Travel Plan, by promoting the benefits that such a Plan can bring to the company itself and its employees.
